Founded by?Sara Pomeroy, the Richmond Justice Initiative (RJI), is a non-profit faith-based organization whose mission is to educate, equip and mobilize communities with the tools needed to be a force in the global movement to end human trafficking. Red Orange Design helped Sara and her small staff of volunteers coordinate and focus their mission statement and existing logo into a cohesive, vibrant and engaging brand through several printed materials and a WordPress website. Working under tight turnarounds and a specific budget, Red Orange helped Sara find efficient and affordable resources for her website and printed marketing materials so that she could focus on her goal of startup fundraising to get the organization off the ground.
When an online vendor for one of the print projects made a mistake in rush printing, Red Orange happily researched a local vendor, produced a rush turnaround brochure and even hand-delivered the final pieces to a pre-event meeting so that the entire staff could spend time on the task at hand, raising awareness and funding the mission of ending human trafficking.
Red Orange also designed a postcard for The Prevention Project, a part of RJI, whose goal is to educate young people about the dangers of human trafficking so that they don’t become victims. The postcard features hand-drawn icons, scanned textures and handwriting to create an engaging visual.
